We moved from Pennsville, NJ at the end of May to Sun City West, AZ. We chose Allied Van Lines to do our move and the decision was a good one. We have had excellent service from everyone on the Bayshore/Allied team.
Dave was very professional and prompt and personable in coming to our home to give us the estimate.
We stopped at your facility in Newark and Faye was very helpful in getting us boxes to pack with.
Keri was excellent in her job as a coordinator. She was very understanding during the time we didn't know for sure if our settlement would go through as planned and did a wonderful job of keeping us informed all the way through the moving process and of checking in to make sure everything was going well every step of the way.
Karen did an unbelievable job packing everything up. We were impressed by how quickly she worked, but when we started unpacking everything on the other end of the move, we were doubly impressed with her packing ability. She packed up several fragile items for us and they came through the move really well. She did a fabulous job of packing - as evidenced by everything coming through the move in excellent condition.
Terry did a great job helping the driver pack up everything and load it into the moving van on moving day. It was a hot/humid day and the house is a two story house - he did a great job under difficult conditions.
Willie also did a great job on the other end of the move helping the driver move everything from the van into the house. He actually ran from the house to the van to get the next item to carry in - again under very warm conditions.
And the driver, Bob, is a very impressive person. He is personable, efficient, professional, and very much of a perfectionist - exactly what you would want to have in someone packing up all your valued possessions. He took the time to wrap our furniture so well that we knew nothing would happen to anything in the trip across the country. He even glued together a table that was broken before he packed it up. He communicated with us so that we knew when he would arrive in Arizona and when he would be delivering our furniture.
And of course, the true test of any operation is how it deals with a problem when it occurs. Several days after we had settled into our home in Arizona, I realized that I was missing a file box. I called Keri to ask her to see if Bob still had any of our boxes in his van. He called back within minutes to tell us he was sure we had all of our boxes and encouraged us to check the boxes we had. We were sure we had unpacked everything - but Keri was very professional in offering to send us a claim form. And a couple of days later, we were moving a box that "just contained books" and we discovered the file box under the first layer of books. If we had read the outside of the box Karen had labeled so carefully, we'd have seen that was where the file box was.
This is the first time we've used a moving company and our experience was very positive from start to finish. Our insurance agent here in Arizona told us she has a customer who used United Van Lines and the move was a very stressful, unpleasant experience. We've been telling everyone we know how pleased we are with the service provided to us by Bayshore Transportation and Allied Van Lines.

When one moves their house it usually is a very stressful activity. I've moved three times in the past and all three times were painful and very stressful. However this move with Bayshore / Allied was an eye opener. Right from the start the sales person, Dave, came across as very professional and most of all genuine. He "sold" us on Bayshore/Allied without really hard selling. He was patient, understanding, and most of all flexible.
When Bob showed-up at our door we were still looking for the "catch". In the past the sales folks have been good only to find that the driver and movers make the move a horrible experience. Bob is a really great guy and he really put us at ease. Not only did he and Jameel take care to pack everything, they took care to make sure it was done right. We did not feel rushed and we felt confident that our stuff was in safe hands. They actually went above and beyond to make sure we were at ease. We expect our packers to be professionals but the fact that both of them were nice people made it really special. Even at the time of unloading Bob and Oscar carried on the great work and were extremely careful while unpacking. The unpacking was done right and our house was left in a great condition.
Last but not least I would like to thank you for the regular follow-up and updates. You've been very professional and have been extremely prompt in your response. In our overall assessment you too played a key role in making our experience enjoyable and stress free. Keep up the great work.
I am so impressed with my experience with Bayshore/Allied that I would be more than happy to recommend this to my friends and family. Also, as I had mentioned this to Dave I will recommend Bayshore to my company and there is a lot more potential business for your company.

The entire team was FANTASTIC! I really couldn't have been happier with the whole experience! As most people know, moving long distance (I moved about 700 miles) can be stressful and challenging. I chose to pack myself and let Bayshore do the rest! Our coordinator kept me informed on the pricing of my move and when the moving team would be arriving to load on "moving day." She was very helpful.
The moving team was AMAZING! The driver and his crew were three guys who I would call any day, anytime for future moves. They did a wonderful job! Loading day was a breeze (how often can people say that). The driver, was professional, organized, personable, and just a great guy all around. His crew were also friendly and super hard workers. I couldn't believe how much these guys could carry. They were efficient and careful when moving my belongings. Needless to say I was thrilled to learn that this same team of guys would be unloading my belongings at my new home. I was given a delivery date and the driver told me he would call me the night before delivery to give me an approximate delivery time. He followed through with that call and told me he would be at my new home most likely between 8:00 - 8:30 A.M; and sure enough, he was there right on time @ 8:15 A.M. Unloading went just as smooth as loading day. All of my belongings made it to my new home - safe and sound!
I feel so fortunate to have had such a positive moving experience! I know it doesn't always go this well for some people. Thank You again for making such a wonderful first impression and for representing your company so well. Thanks again to everyone who helped to make my moving experience a great one! "My husband and I recently moved from Takoma Park, MD to Sacramento, CA and used Bayshore/Allied out of Delaware. They were FANTASTIC. Paul came to the house and spent a considerable amount of time reviewing the items we intended to move. He estimated around 9,000 pounds and gave us a not to exceed quote of around $5600 (can't remember the exacts). If we came down in pounds the price would come down. In the end we had about 8,800 pounds and paid about $5400. My husband dealt with the movers on moving day and the two guys were fantastic, super friendly and very professional. They were the ones that drove the shipment across country and showed up in Sacramento right on time. Everything went extremely well. I dealt with Diane in the office regarding payment. They took the credit card information over the phone prior to delivery and billed my card afterward. All in all we give them the highest rating possible. They were just all so professional and helpful and friendly. Not one complaint! We would highly recommend them to anyone"
